Itinerary
Days 1 & 2
Mabel’s Eden, Indus Valley
Experience a warm welcome to Ladakh at Mabel’s Eden, a century-old, beautifully restored ancestral home in Shey. Over these two days, enjoy a traditional lunch at a historic neighboring estate turned museum, walk through an old royal residence, and explore local geology exhibits and bird-filled wetlands. Complete your reflective evenings with a peaceful riverbank picnic as twilight softens across the valley.
Day 2
The Sia, Nubra Valley
Journey over a high mountain pass into Nubra Valley to stay at The Sia, a historic family estate that once welcomed ancient trade caravans. Enjoy high tea at a women-run kitchen, wander through vast golden sand dunes, and take an optional walk to a quiet hilltop monastery. Discover hidden waterfalls, petroglyphs, and a sacred lake before winding down with a soak in natural hot springs under star-filled skies.
Day 3
Tsories, Changthang
Savor breakfast under the orchard shade before driving toward the magnificent Pangong Tso with a packed picnic lunch along the way. Your retreat at Tsories is a cozy, sun-warmed family home overlooking an expansive blue horizon. Enjoy high tea by a private stretch of the lake shore accompanied by traditional snacks, and end the night stargazing in the peaceful mountain stillness.
Day 4
Gyatso’s Yard, Leh
Spend the final chapter of your journey in a light-filled modern home reflecting the creative energy of contemporary Leh. Take a guided walking tour through Old Town’s historic backlanes, visit a local heritage exchange museum, and enjoy a free day for independent exploration using a curated guidebook. Celebrate your journey with a farewell dinner featuring unique local fusion drinks at Gyatso’s favorite neighborhood lounge.
Day 5
Nubra to Pangong
Enjoy a relaxed final morning in Nubra Valley before heading toward the brilliant blue waters of Pangong Lake.
Before arriving at your lakeside camp, take a moment to admire the changing colors of the water — a quiet tea break, a slow walk along the shore, or simply watching the reflections on the surface. It’s a gentle close to days shaped by nature, movement, and unhurried discovery, leaving you refreshed and inspired for what comes next.
